A woman has been nominated for President!

History has been made! As of July 26, 2016, Hillary Clinton has been nominated for President by the Democratic Party. It only took 229 years to get here. That’s right our country was founded by a bunch of men back in 1787 in Philadelphia, PA. It’s fitting that a woman would be nominated to be president in the same place.

The current President Barak Obama says she’s the most qualified person man or woman for the position. Obama even compared her to himself and her husband, former President Bill Clinton.

Also, Michelle Obama has her back and it’s awesome. Watch her speech here.

These moments at the DNC, in July of 2016, means women are cracking that glass ceiling. And, perhaps in about 100 days it’ll be shattered.
