What’s “GO BAMF” mean to you?

I think being a “BAMF” is something different for everyone. For me, it’s kind of hard to put into words. To me it’s almost like “news,” hard to define, but I know it when I see it.

My best friend challenged me recently as I continue to develop this website. She asked me if “GO BAMF” really described me. If this (noun, adjective and/or verb) truly represents who I am.  And, the answer is yes and no. It’s one part of me. Not all of me. To me, “Going BAMF” is the moment I step out of my comfort zone and be true to myself and my desires. It’s almost an alter ego.

While I might think Hillary Clinton is a BAMF. I also think this little girl who sings covers with her dog while wearing a unicorn headband is also a BAMF. Her name is Grace Vanderwaal. She’s 12-years-old and she’s awesome. You can watch her HERE.

Turns out she’s pretty popular on YouTube and I can see why!

If you know any “BAMF’s” please share them with me at gobamf@gmail.com

Hello! Thanks for stopping by. Here's a little bit about me. I'm a reporter, producer and promoter of all things female. Bridging the gap between how men and women are treated in the world is something I'm passionate about. I'm originally from Saratoga Springs, NY. I studied Journalism and Spanish at the University of Minnesota and rowed Division-1. In 2007, my crew of incredibly strong women and I won an NCAA Championship. I love sharing stories, traveling and being active in the community. My husband and I live near Manhattan Beach, CA with our two cats whom we are both obsessed with.
